Sony Defend Decision to Not Allow Cross-Platform Play

Sony were in the spotlight earlier this week, rushing to defend their decision to block cross-platform play between Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. The issue arose after Microsoft announced cross-platform play will be coming to Minecraft, between the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, mobile and VR players can all play together. Nintendo today announced at the Switch event in Tokyo Japan that the console will launch worldwide on March 3rd 2017. The console will cost $299.99 in the United States. The package will include the Nintendo Switch, Joy Con (L) and Joy Con controllers and a Joy Con grip. You will also get a Nintendo Switch dock that holds the main console and connects it to the TV.
