Bubsy is Making a Comeback – What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Bubsy, arguably one of my favourite Nintendo series’, is making a return after almost 20 years of… well, nothing. Previously releasing on Sega Genesis, NES and SNES, Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back will be releasing later this year on PlayStation 4 and PC. The new installment in the series is being developed by Black Forest games. There isn’t a whole lot of news available yet, but you can watch the trailer below. I’m not going to pretend like I’m not overly hyped for this already… NOSTALGIA!

Lock’s Quest PC Review – Decent Port If You Have a Controller

My Initial Thoughts Having never played Lock’s Quest on the Nintendo DS when it was first released, the idea of a real-time strategy/tower defense was an interesting idea. When I first loaded Lock’s Quest, I was amazed at the graphics. Pixel art has always been able to stay somewhat relevant no matter how far graphics have advanced, but with all of the art enhanced in HD, everything in Lock’s Quest looked great. I started up a new game with keyboard/mouse for controls. And that’s where my problems began. The keyboard/mouse…

The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild Review

The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild developed by Nintendo was released on the 3rd of March 2017 on the Wii-U and the Nintendo Switch. The Legend of Zelda series has been going for a very long time and it seems to never fail to disappoint fans from around the world. With the new release, the chemistry of the classic series has been changed a bit and made into an open-world survival RPG. While some people may dislike the change, I for one love it as I’ve never enjoyed…

The Wii-U And Why Nintendo Shouldn’t Have Given Up

With the Nintendo Switch now available and Zelda the Breath of the Wild being the last official game from Nintendo to be released on the Wii-U I want to talk about how sad it is that the Wii-U is no more. The Wii-U in my house was bought as a family Christmas present in 2015, it came with the New Super Mario Bros. The classic Super Mario Bros. style has always been a game I’ve  gone back to in the years and had a much different experience and feel to…

PSA: Got a Switch? Get a Screen Protector ASAP

If you’re one of the handful of people who has already rushed out to pick up their Nintendo Switch, can we make a suggestion? Get a screen protector. Now. Users are already reporting hairline scratches appearing on the bottom left-hand corner, as seen in the photo below: The damage is caused by placing and removing the Switch from its plastic dock. Should you slide it in and miss the USB-C prong in the dock, the movement caused by trying to get it to line up (even carefully, we’re told) eventually begins…

The LEGO Batman Movie Story Pack is by far the greatest pack I have played so far and here’s why. If you’re not sure, when you buy a story pack or level pack, players are able to play several or one level from maybe an episode of the Tv show or a movie or even…
