Fortnite is shooter by Epic Games in which you must build the greatest defences to stop oncoming hordes of monsters. You’ll design unique bases in procedurally generated worlds and craft epic weapons to aid you in the war. 98% of the population disappeared and you’re the only survivors left, you must fight the hordes to survive. Fortnite will be free-to-play in 2018.
When I first saw Fortnite at E3 2017 I was seriously taken back by how fun it looks, the creativity and the destruction all looks so addictive. I thought to myself what would I build to hold the hordes of monsters back and what weapons would I use primarily? Below is a trailer and you can see what I am talking about:
The game itself looks as if it has a bit of light hearted humour in it and looks as if it has been designed in a cartoon like style. It’s also good to see more games where team work is key if your team decides to work together that is. The promise of no two games ever being the same also excited me, I like games to be kept fresh and not become repetitive with the same old environments. I’ve always loved the crafting and creating side of video games and I look forward to building complex forts in cities and sniping from the top while others on the front line are keeping the monsters out.
You will be able to pre-order Fortnite to play the game earlier on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. The game will be free play in 2018.
