Hell Warders developed by Ares Games is a tower defence, action styled game in which you must defend your objective against hordes of demons. By collecting power-ups you must lay your defences around the map strategically and basically survive. First off though players must choose a character from one of three each with unique skills to match different play styles and then you can take the fight online with your friends to defeat the hell demons once and for all. A quote from the story features below:
“Hell has been unleashed! Face the demons head-on with a team of Hell Warders, an ancient order of heroes with unique powers and abilities. Push back waves of demons with an arsenal of weapons, powerful hero skills and deployable towers. Hell Warders is a co-operative multiplayer action hero defence game unlike any other.
Luckily at Creep-Score we’ve had a chance to play and I quite enjoyed it and I do feel it is unique. I honestly don’t like Tower Defence games at all, but the gameplay in this title reminded me of horde modes in triple A titles but having all the soldiers defending you and powers around the map made it chaotic in a good way. While it is only in Beta there are a few issues with animation and sound, the animation can be a bit glitchy at times and the sound overlaps but apart from that the game runs smooth and fairly bug-free. While every game will have its flaws, I admire the developers for providing a feedback box in the game to help them with development, it proves that they are dedicated to their game. With the gameplay being this fun I really hope to see more of this in the future and I hope it succeeds in its Indiegogo goal. If you’re interested in playing you can go back it HERE. Or you can buy it for $14.99 on Steam and get 4 free beta keys to share with your friends. Hell Warders is a lot more fun if you have people playing but it still holds up as a solo game.
